ARLINGTON, VA July 18, 2022 – Freedom Technologies, Inc. (FTI) announced today that Matt Ivey will be the company’s Chief Operating Officer.  “Our team has entered its 30th year as a growing enterprise led by seasoned policy experts, engineers, and lawyers,” FTI CEO Janice Obuchowski notes.  “Matt brings the organizational track record to support this positive trajectory.”

Ivey joined FTI last year at the conclusion of his distinguished career in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer and subsequently as an attorney in multiple leadership positions, during which he deployed to the Arabian Gulf, Iraq, and the South China Sea.  Highlights include assignments as Director of Legislation at the Department of the Navy Office of Legislative Affairs, Chief of Plans & International Law for U.S. Special Operations Command, and lead attorney for a multinational carrier strike group.
