September 4, 2024, Arlington, VA, – Freedom Technologies Inc. (“FTI”) is pleased to announce that FTI team member Matthew Vaught has been appointed as Vice President Strategic Spectrum.
A graduate of both the University of California, San Diego and the George Washington University Law School, Mr. Vaught joined FTI in 2023 and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, combining academic excellence with military service. His prior professional experience is highlighted by over seven years of service in the U.S. Army, including five years as a Special Forces Communications Sergeant. While serving in a specialized tactical team, his experience included extensive work in threat analysis and technical communications throughout Asia. Mr. Vaught has served as a lead communications planner in situations ranging from training instruction to combat missions. Additionally, he performed as a lead tactical instructor for foreign and domestic military personnel in diverse locations. Mr. Vaught was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, NATO Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, and Combat Infantry Badge.
